best bets (0-0)<BR>strong plays (0-0)<BR>regular plays (0-0)<BR>opinions (0-0)<P>jacksonville -3 over pittsburgh(best bet)......i have not seen one person pick jacksonvill yet, everybody is on the steelers. pittsburgh is an average team on the road. do people think jax sucks? if they are healthy, they are a very good team. do people think cordell is a good qb?<BR>he sucks. jacksonville by at least 10.<P>green bay -5 over detroit (best bet)....something tells me green bay is going to have a very good team this year. they are certainly better than detroit. pack at home at less than a td, vs detroit who plays much better at home, is a steal. packers by 7 or more.<P>kansas city +3 over oakland (strong play).....kc has a great opening day record. kc a very good record as a home dog. combine the two together and you have a strong play. kc wins outright by 4.<P>philly +3 over st louis (strong play)....i guess you could say i have never been a believer of the rams. philly's defense and a few scrambles by mr. mcnab along with a solid ground game, should enable the eagles to get the win at home.<P>san fran -3.5 over atlanta (strong play).....too many people on atlanta today, i am going the other way. both teams should be improved. i like taking small home favorites on opening day. i look for san fran to make a run at the playoffs this year, and this would be a great way to start. 49ers by 7.<P>colts -2 over jets (regular play).....this is just a matter of better talent. will be a tight game, with colts pulling it out in the end. <P>miami +6 over tennessee (regular play).....two great defenses, two very conservative offenses. don't see either team winning by 7 points or more. looks like each teams scores one touchdown, and then it is a battle of field goals.<P>new england -1 over cincinnati (opinion)....can't imagine the bengals being 1-0.<P>buffalo +2 over new orleans (opinion).....bills still a respectable team at home. should not be a home dog to the saints.<P>
