best bets (3-6)
strong plays (5-6)
regular plays (7-6)
opinions (9-6)
as you can see, my picks are going in the wrong direction.na vs south florida, because it was a fluke. at home, vs the number one team in the country, on national television and getting 27 points equals a winner. this line opened at 19.5 and it up to 27. WOW!!!! when this happens, this big, the public is almost always wrong. this is one of those game where people wake up the next day and say "i can't believe it was that close of a game". this is one of my larger wagers this year in college football. i love pitt plus all those points.
miami-florida 27 pittsburgh 19

28-21-1
Pitt Panthers+28
You can probably get a better line later tonight, but I think the 4 touchdowns will be enough.
good Luck,
BH

miami -27.5
, gotta follow a line that the book sweats this much....
UNDER 52..... major OVER action has managed to drive this number from 55 to 52...go figure!
the public seems to be wrong on this one or their action would of pushed it higher.
~peace

LSU +10 @ Tenn - 5 units
This will be my first 5 unit play this year. LSU is super talented this year especially in the skill positions with a 5-year senior QB who is finally healthy in Davey and athletes in Toefield, Reed, Myers, etc. They are just as talented as Tennessee, and maybe even more so. They won this game last year, even though it was at home and Saban has them believeing their the best team in the country, and that they can prove it in the next 2 weeks. The oddsmakers always shaft them because they do have history of being inconsistant, but that going to change with the new coaching staff. I think LSU wins the game outright in a close one, but either way 10 points is too much.

Alabama (2-1)
South Carolina (3-0) -5
The Gamecocks will host the Crimson Tide, a team they have not defeated since they joined the SEC. The Gamecocks will be looking to start the season 4-0 for the 2nd straight time. The game against Alabama, who finished 3-8, was the first loss of the year for the Gamecocks. Last season they finished with an 8-4 record.
Gamecocks were looking for some improvement out of the QB position this season. So far, they have gotten what they asked for. After throwing 10 interceptions last season, Petty has yet to picked through 3 games. Alabama is an opportunistic defense that scored on a funble and interception return in a 31-10 win over Arkansas. Pinnock, who had 97 yards last week, will take over the primary running duties from Derek Watson. Although no spectacular numbers are being posted by the Gamecocks, they are playing some "close to the best" fundamental football. So far it is working.
After taking a tough loss at home, 20-17 to UCLA, to start the season the Tide have won their last two. Though lethargic offensively against Vanderbilt in a 12-9 win, their defense once again showed themselves to be a capable unit. As stated earlier, that defense would score twice in a 31-10 victory against the Razorbacks. They have solid performances from RB Ahmaad Galloway, whose has garnered in 283 rushing yards through the first three games. Antonio Carter (11 recept's) and Freddie Millons (7 recept's) have been the key targets for QB Tyler Watts. Watts has 56% passing with a pair of TD's and one INT.
In analyzing this matchup, I see two very similar teams. Both rely on defense, field position, and opportunistic play. I feel the Crimson Tide show up well in each of these categories. In addition, the Tide's offense being a little more stable than that of the Gamecocks. Possession of the ball will be a factor, and turnovers will make the difference.
The big number for this game.....
The home team is 30-46 ATS in Alabama games in the last 7 years. This means that the chalk usually gets burned when playing in Alabama contests. I forsee a hard fought game with the Tide sending the hometown Cocks a bit bitter.....Alabama 17-16
King T Sports selection: Alabama +5

Rutgers -18
This team finally gets to dish out some punishment of their own. UCONN is bad. Real bad.
Georgia -10
Dawgs won this 38-7 last year on the road. This is in Athens, where they need to erase the memory of south Carolina beating them. Looks easy enough. Arkansas can't move the ball, and the Dawg D should give the O good field position all day.
UCLA -3' over Oregon St. OSU lost too many skill players to stop the Bruin's revenge from happening. It's taken me this long to hop on the UCLA bandwagon. Hope it's not full or out of gas.
UAB +6 this line has moved to 5' and the reason is that UAB is a team on the rise, while S.Miss is on the decline. I don't know enough about either team to bet this game, but my gut sez, "Pull the trigge".
Good luck to all this weekend, and good luck to JC on the LSU game. I fear an injury to Davie, but hate the Vols.
