best bets (3-1)<BR>strong plays (3-1)<BR>regular plays (4-0)<BR>opinions (1-4)<BR>overall (11-6)<P>san diego -6.5 over cincinnati (best bet).....people are making too big a deal over cincy's win last week vs baltimore. ravens very overrated right now. great defense and no offense. they are finding out what it is like to defend their title. we are talking about the bengals here, on the road, getting less than a touchdown. a week ago, we would have been all over the chargers, now people are saying "break up the bengals", i don't think so....back to reality. chargers by at least 14.<P>miami +6 over st louis (best bet).......dolphins defense + almost a touchdown = WINNER. very simple math here. i look for miami to control the clock today vs an improved st louis defense. dolphins will find a way to slow down the rams offense, becuase that is all anybody can do. you cannot stop it. outright win possible, but i think miami gets their first loss today. rams 20-17.<P>denver -5 over baltimore (strong play)......baltimore not having the year like they did last year. their great defense will likely get worn down in denver due to their offense not spending alot of time on the field. meanwhile denver's offense looks unstoppable right now. they should be able to crack the endzone a few times today, especially in the second half. broncos pull away in the 4th quarter, 27-13<P><BR>giants -3 over new orleans (strong play)......i new orleans has a very good team, but so do the giants. how quickly people forget about last year. giants at home, only minus 3 sounds like a pretty good deal to me. home field should be the difference here. giants 24-17.<P>buffalo +3 over pittsburgh (strong play)......this is more of a play against the steelers. cordell is horrible! pittsburgh at home is very respectable, on the road they are just average. i know buffalo has problems too, but laying points on the road with this steeler team is just not going to happen for me. bills 17-13.<P>new england +12 over colts (regular play).....who wouldn't take the colts here? it looks like you could bet a million dollars on them today. that is why i am going the other way. colts should win by 28 or more, instead, you watch and see if they don't struggle and have to pull this game out in the 4th quarter. colts 28-24.<P>seattle +10.5 over oakland (regular play).....don't have a reason for this one, just a gut feeling. we all bet games like this where we just get a feeling. 10.5 is alot of points in this league and it is not like seattle sucks? just got a feeling. oakland 27-21.<P>kansas city -3 over washington (opinion).....washington has major problems this year.<P>minnesota +2.5 over tampa bay (opinion).....vikes 0-3? probably not. they have a history of playing well at home vs the bucs.<P>green bay -3.5 over carolina (opinion)....pack have looked very impressive this year, and carolina is carolina. even though on the road, i think their is good value in this game.<BR>

The NYG are overrated.<P><BR>Broncos -5 vs. Ravens - 3 units <P>Denver is hot and probably playing the best football in the NFL. Baltimore is struggling right now. They will get their footing during the season but it won't be at Denver.<P><BR>Chargers -6 vs. Bengals - 2 units<P>Echo of what Jillmark said. Bengals on the road is a recipe for disaster and the Chargers cover this on talent.<P><BR>Patriots/Colts under 45 - 1 unit<P>Here you go Beantownjim, I'm giving you some props because the weather does look pretty bad.

Tampa defense had a week off, and should be in full force.<P>Kansas City +10 <P>Washington is horrible. The KC defense should stop this team cold.<P>Baltimore +18 1/2<P>I know everyone is on Denver, that is all the more reason I like Blatimore. This team certainly has some offense problems, but I think they were looking ahead to Denver last week.<P>Oakland +3 <P>Oaklnad will crush Seattle... any questions...<P><BR>Good Luck this week<P>
