Week 16 NFL

LW 1-3 -4.6 Stars Season: 29-23 +7.1

Min+3 (8-6, 7-7) vs.K.C. (12-2, 9-5)

The Vikes further solidified their position as the flakiest team in the history of the NFL by totally dominating the Bears last week in Chicago and still managing to lose the game by three when the ball was ripped away from Randy Moss in the end zone. Needless to say, this was a crucial divisional game that Minn. could not afford to let slip away, but when has that ever bothered these guys?
In the mean time, the Chiefs had another easy time of it in Arrowhead, smashing the hapless Lions 45-17
These teams are similar in almost every way. Both can be explosive on offense and both are opportunistic, but talent poor on defense. The main difference is that the Chiefs, for whatever else they are, are an emotionally cohesive unit on both sides of the ball. Vermeil is, in his own way, an actual genius. Not so much in the technical sense, but as a team psychologist.
Anyway, enough of that BS. Will Randy and Culpepper come out all pissed about the Chicago debacle and light up KC's secondary? Will the Vikes excellent running game poke big holes in the KC pathetic run defense? Or, will Minn. lay down and let a methodical KC offense that is not prone to mistakes do them in? I have no idea. I know that 54.5 points is possible for either of these offenses, particularly vs. either of these defenses
Takin' over 54.5 for two stars
