K.C./Indy over 51

Consensus seems to be that Indy has a great chance to upset the Chiefs at Arrowhead. Maybe. What is inarguable is the fact that pro bowlers abound on offense for both these teams, and both defenses have been pushed around all year.
The Chiefs avg. around 34 ppg at home, Colts avg. almost 27 on the road. Chiefs defense, on the face of it, seems respectable at home, allowing 14.6 ppg on avg. Problem is, Denver was the only team with a winning record that they played at Arrowhead. Although they put the hammer down on the vaunted Bear offense in week 17, surrendering a lone FG, they allowed the likes of Pbg., Cle., and Oak. to score at least 20. The Colts are 7-1 on the road, allowing an avg. 20.6 ppg. Vs. Playoff teams overall, they allowed 25.2 ppg.
Tickets are available and cheap in K.C. There is no lack of skepticism on the street and in the bars, especially after the debacle in Denver. This means nothing on the field, but if Manning puts up a couple of Tds early, Arrowhead will become the quietest place in town and Peyton can run his show.
At any rate, it is a beautiful, spring like day in KC and over 51.5 looks easier to me than picking a side. Three stars on the over
