Time to play the Game
The landscape of college football was redefined this week as major teams fell to other major teams. This weekend was more of an elimination type weekend, and it also gave redemption and a second chance to some other teams that fell earlier in the year.
Let's get on to FREAK's Top 5 for the week ending October 28th.

1. Miami remains #1, where they have been all year on my poll. A rather convincing win over West Virginia was no surprise, but convincing indeed in front of a national audience. Miami will be on cruise control as they have lowly Temple on deck. Big games remain Vs VA Tech and Washington. Miami will still continue to pour it on to impress voters, even if it has no effect on the BCS.
2. Nebraska moves up from #4, with a big win over Oklahoma. The second 1/2 the Huskers dominated and took control of a tight game. This team is still very scary as they haven't played a 100% complete game as of yet. They will need it as they should meet Oklahoma again down the road in the Big 12 championship. Nebraska plays at Kansas next week, who got pummeled by K St. this week.
There should be no let down from the boys of Nebraska.
3. Florida rejoins the top 5 after an impressive win Vs Georgia. Although the Gators were penalized heavily Vs the Bulldogs, the Gators did whatever it took to come out on top. The Gators have rebounded nicely after an earlier loss to Auburn. I expect a big game this week Vs Vanderbilt as Spurrier was unhappy over his teams play this past Saturday. Although I really can't stand Spurrier and Florida, you have to give them their due, they have a talented QB in Grossman, and win the games they need to win.
4. Oklahoma down from #3 last week, and you really can't drop them down to much, afterall they did go into a very hostile arena to play a dangerous team, and one of the nations best. Oklahoma has an issue at QB, and they won't need to solve it quickly as they have this coming week off. They will face a tough Texas A&M club at home next.
5. Michigan the wolverines make their debut in the top 5 this week. They have silently put together a good season. Their only loss at Washington, who has proved to be a quality team of their own. The Wolverines feature a power running game, and they just enough in the tank at QB. Look for Michigan to go far, and challenge for a BCS spot. This coming week they will face instate rival Michigan St. on the road. This will be a tough test for the Wolverines.
We say good-bye to previous rated #2 UCLA who lost their QB Paus early in the game at Stanford. However this was a tough game to begin with, look for Stanford to threaten for an upper bowl bid.
We also say good-bye to #5 VA Tech who was manhandled by a Syracuse club, which was deemed to be down this year. Guess again, the Orange are alive and well.
Well, the season is far from over, and I expect to see a few different teams end up in the top 5 before seasons end. Who will play in the championship game at Pasadena, is still up in the air, it will depend on how the pigskin tumbles.
Good Luck this coming week.

#1 Miami. The total package. They are rarely tested, but have plenty of big game players.
#2 Nebraska. They look to be about even with Oklahoma.
#3 Oklahoma. No shame in losing at Nebraska
#4 Florida. Cannot be stopped, except by themselves. Young team. Defense is not the greatest, but they don't really need one.
#5 Michigan. Not overly impressive, but they keep rolling along.
