What are your thoughts on the BCS, does it work ?, should they can it ? how can they improve it ?<p>Let's talk about it !!!!!

I don't think it is as bad as it's made out to be most of the time.
Until they switch to a play-off system , i don't think the public or teams will ever be satisfied.

To me the BCS is nothing but controversy. How is it that DIV I-AA II and III can have a playoff system that works, but yet IA can't ?<p>Oh they will play more games, well what makes them any different than the other divisons ?<p>Are those student athletes different ?<p>We have 25 bowls or so, and truly only 1 is important in the scheme of the BCS. SO why not use those bowls and get them money and stop this abusrd practice the bowls use now.<p>Guarantee tickets, guaranteed sponsorship to play in a bowl game ? Hello.... whatever happened to deserving to be there, not by a bidding practice of who can do more for you.<p>Get the playoff system in place, every game would still be important, and maybe we could get things settled on the field rather than by polls and mind games.

I am so glad that Oregon beat the crap out of Colorado. I still don't believe Colorado belonged in that high of a bowl to begin with.<p>Oregon will be the one that got screwed unless the BIG RED roll, all along this year, I have said Nebraska hasn't played their "A" game.<p>I still like Miami though, # 1 to me all year, no reason to stop now.
