was due for a losing week. lost my best bet, chicago, not even close. split my strong plays and regular plays. still having a very good year for me in the nfl.
amazing how in colleges (-9.10 units) and pros (+9.70 units) and combined +.60 units) for the year. 127 games later and i am barely on the plus side. oh well, better than losing and i am having fun doing it.
TURKEY DAY
detroit +7.5 over indianapolis (best bet).........yeah i know, call me crazy. payton is having a great year. there have been alot of great teams go into detroit on thanksgiving day and come home with a loss. i am not asking for a loss, just for them not to blow somebody out. it is always tough to win on the road in the nfl. most teams will take a win on the road and it don't matter by how many points vs anybody. i like this game as much as any i have made this year. it is probably my best pick of the year so far. no i am not calling it my game of year, or lock of year. i am not that foolish. but i really do like it alot. payton and the colts due for a tough game and maybe even a loss. my best bet of the week is always a three unit play. lets make this one four units.
dallas -3 over chicago (regular play).......not going crazy on this one becuase dallas sucks, but i cannot resist taking them on thanksgiving. cowboys due to put together a decent game, so why not on thanksgiving. i might be forcing this one since it is on thanksgiving, but i don't care. goint to eat turkey and watch football on thursday.
pittsburgh -10.5 over washington (strong play)
atlanta -9.5 over new orleans (strong play)
i might be wrong, but both of these teams should roll to easy wins, unless they sleepwalk thru these games, but i don't think they will. time for these guys to start thinking about home field thru the playoffs. pittsburgh looked bad and still won on sunday and atlanta is the suprise team of the league in my opinion. it does not seem like vick is having a great year either. atlanta's d is playing well. atlanta might not score 40, but they won't have to. falcons win 27-10
