Last week everything was in Wilson’s favor to cover the spread. He had a good record against the 49rs and had all summer to plan on how to show his previous division that he is a upper tier QB.
Unfortunately, he looked pathetic. Wide open short passes were driven into the dirt. With out the familiarity of his past receiver core we did not see any scrambling out of a pressure to connect with a perfect deep throw to Locket or Metcalf.
In the win against the 49rs it was a slugfest, one that must have left Den a little beat up to say the least.
Hackett has not shown himself yet to be anything to brag about in his hire yet. While McDaniels is having his own issues with his team lack luster performance I look to Carr for the edge. He is 6-0 SU Vs Den at home.
I simply see him being a much better QB on the field this weekend, with a better grasp of his team.
Raiders are the play in this match up.
