For those that may not know me, I'm Wacco and I love playing NY Race Tracks.
I play mostly EXACTAS or sometimes you'll see me post as seen on your bet ticket for a race ( Singles, Wheels, Pick3's, etc....)
My strongest play is my $$$ - Money Maker Play. This play is usually a longshot with a high return.

There's no true way of knowing if you are winning or losing? I don't know the bet amount per race, if you won or lost and what the daily total win/loss is?

I would suggest you start with your bankroll and tell people how these are being played and a nightly recap of the results. If not, there's no true value to the reader of how successful/unsuccessful it's going.

This is an example of what I'm talking about, but what happened the other three races and what were the bet amounts? So while you hit the race quoted, we don't know the overall result for the day, because if the others were losers, you could've lost for the day????

This is the way I have always posted my plays, I'm certainly not going to jinx myself now with dollar amounts.
The bettor can decide for themselves what amount they want to bet. Depending on his/her amount CAN ALSO produce different results.
I put out the plays, YOU decide on YOUR wager.

Almost all my Exactas are $12.00 plays.

Scientifically, there's no such thing as a jinx. You advised what amount your playing $2 exacta boxes. Thanks for sharing that with the community.

I believe in total transparency whether it's betting football, baseball, basketball, hockey or horses. A record and accurate stat keeping is a must always. It goes back to the MLB cappers who state they had a great winning season of 419-311 at 57.3% but yet failed to mention they lost units for the entire season. Doc's cappers come to mind off the top of my head.

As for Rogers and Relax, I've been doing this way too long on both sides of the counter, seen all types, one thing you learn is to never lower your guard because once you do, they got you where they want you.

I looked thru today's "Trackside 5/5" posts of all horse racing plays.....There isn't a single play or post listed with a dollar amount wagered.

I'm not saying you have to keep records, I just suggested it. If you don't want to, then don't. There's no requirement to but if you are going to post about having a nice win you should post about losses as well. It goes both ways and not just one.

Post was moved here to the tracker as I was reminded posts in that area are by expert paid handicappers.

I'll admit I'm a Triple Crown, Breeders Cup only horse racing bettor.

Freak has set a higher standard here in the forum and what takes place elsewhere is just that elsewhere. if you have noticed there's no bs here, no fighting, no chirping. The standard of members is higher here, go look at the threads where people are posting picks of their own, they have a record of wins/losses along with units won or lost.

So, if the man suggested to you to post a transparent accounting of your picks, you should take it in a positive manner and not the way you came across to not Freak as a person but the owner as well as the rest of us. It's not about you or me, it's about all of us and that's the culture here since I've been here and well before I became a member here.

I don't know if you're any good with your picks. I can tell who's bad, decent and good in all the other threads. For you to backbite at him because paid handicappers don't have bets to their names, they aren't here posting their picks as you are. You want a following, you earn it here, what you did elsewhere means nothing to the regulars here because you were elsewhere and not here.

I'm saying to you what Freak should've said to you and I'm sure I'll get a nasty gram for speaking the truth. He's too nice and easy going.

Welcome to the forum I hope you are good at what you do because other people will have money on your picks. Something to think about before telling the owner to relax, which was truly a dick move.
