Man that was like the race that wouldn't end! To me the knock on NASCAR races is that they're too long. Peeps drive around for 3/4 of the race playing nice for the most part. Then in the last 100 laps they start racing like they want to win. Like most everything else, post Covid people have no patience... look at the dust ups and paybacks. The latest being Elliott. Prior to that it was Bubby Wallace on Larson, Grayson/Chastain, etc.
IMO Cup races should only be about the same length as the Infinity races, round and round just gets boring. And, bring back practice time. Drivers should be able to get in some practice time to tweak their cars before just going out with what ya' got is what ya' got. An example being KYB... he's not having a very good season but, given Practice Time he can get his car dialed in just the way he wants it and that would make him a contender every week.
