my opinion... nope, running backs are a dying breed, aside from a play or two, they won't be mad they
did not pay him, the game has changed, we all know that, his numbers are incredible, but its a passing league these days and teams just
aren't paying backs like they use to, they are prone to injuries, don't last because of the poundings they take even when not running the ball, hes still blocking therefore taking hits every single play hes in the game, thats just my opinion, anyone else want to chime in on the dying breed of running backs?

I think he is worth the money. I would have no issue paying him above the franchise tag number and giving him something like a 5 year $70 million deal. That is $14 million per season. You have guys in this league making more money that make less of an impact than Taylor would. I agree, it is a passing league but having a talent like him to go with your passing game? It can make a good offense great and unstoppable. Can you imagine defending that? You put 8 in the box, you go over the top. You put 5 in the box and Taylor shreds you

My problem isn’t the money, it is the 1st round pick they want for him. If I can give up a 2nd or maybe 3rd & 4th, I’m in!!!

Zeke killed the market for giving RB's the real big contracts. It is a passing league now. Teams can sign them out of college for 5 years and let them beat their bodies up. If still good, team can just throw a franchise tag i think 3 times. by then, their career is over.

You cant name the last team who won a Super Bowl with one of the, if not the, highest paid RB in the NFL. This would be Miami trying to calm their fans down after losing Dalvin to the Jets. Only difference is, Jet gave up nothing and only had to sign Dalvin to a 1 year deal. Miami would have to give up valuable assets AND THEN sign JT to a massive extension.
