Boston Red Sox (Byrd/Lowe) -178 Well the Red Sox are sure looking allot better this year and I will ride them every chance I can.
They send Lowe to the mound today who looked very good in his first start of the year pitching 7 innings with an ERA of 0.00 giving up only 1 hit, he has faced the Royals only once but came away with a win giving up just 1 earned run. His opponent today Byrd had a good start to the year also pitching 6 innings giving up 9 hits with an ERA of 3.00 in a win over the White Sox in KC, but his task gets a little tougher today as he faces a team on a winning streak that is hitting the ball very solid and he is backed up by a bullpen that has been very shaky this year he has one start against the Sox coming away with a loss.
The Sox are hitting a very impressive .392 as a team against righties so far this year as a team at home while the Royals are having a little trouble finding their groove hitting the ball only batting .185 so far on this road trip against right handers.
Really like the Boston bullpen, after a shaky start in their first game they have been very solid with an ERA of 2.50 while the KC pen has been very suspect with an ERA of 4.91.
So I am going to take the Sox and lay the price!

Even if I weren't bias, a team that won 9 straight vs a team that lost 6 of 8? And Raps have been playing defense in that stretch. (Last night, held the Hornets scoreless in the last 5+ minutes!)
