Colorado couldn't have started their first game any worse. At one point they were down 27-10 to Eastern Washington. They still ended up winning by 20 points, so it shows what kind of talent they actually have.
The slow start was somewhat expected since the Buffs lost their top 5 players, including 3 in the draft. The start was most attributed to sloppy play including 18 turnovers. But in the second half they locked down on defense and cut the turnovers from 13 to 5.
Tad Boyle is an excellent coach/recruiter and if they win tonight, it'll be his 300th win which is interestingly where he was coaching (and grew up) before he went to CU.
The Buffs have a balanced offense and have a pretty deep bench considering how much talent they lost last year. I would expect the way they struggled last game and with the new team, is one of the reasons the spread isn't more.

Because of their start last game, I imagine Boyle will have his team ready to start hot plus they are playing at home on a Friday night, and with it being against a team that's 1.5 hours away, I like the Buffs to cover.

I will also go with UCLA + 6.5 points

Iowa simply doesn't play well when traveling two time zones and UCLA is playing well
I have this as a toss up game down to the wire so points to me is a premium
