Yesterday was close but no cigar. We won 3 of the 5 Straight Bets but did not hit a full 3 for 3 round robin. We went 2-1 on four round robins. As you know we are better off hitting a 3 for 3 and going 0-6 on two others than 2-1 on so many. That evens out over time.

Den (+8.5)/under 47.5 6pt teaser...both teams WANT to run the ball. I lean towards DEN in the revenge spot but will happily take the 8.5. Herbert still has a bum ankle and the last time these two played, DEN fell behind early and became one dimensional (passing) and got away from what they want to do. Also, the under is 10-1 the last 11 times these two teams of played.

The Chargers are sitting at 8-6 and on a two game slide. The playoffs are slipping away and if they lose this game, the best they can do in the division will be third behind KC and Denver. It would be hard to not make the playoffs with Indy, Miami, and Cincy trying to catch them at 6-8 but if the Chargers lose this game they'll only be up one game from the teams I just mentioned if they win. Basically what I'm saying is this is close to being a must win game without being one. I think Harbaugh has his guys ready and focused.
