NJ Devils-1.5 -135 Devils take on the leagues worst team. The Blackhawks are 9-18-2 on the season with a minus 20 goal differential. This is an extremely lop-sided matchup when it comes to goal scoring. The Devils average 3.31 goals for per game compared to the 2.45 goals per game that the Blackhawks are averaging. Their forward depth is among the strongest in the league and they should have no issues shutting down the only real offensive threat that the Blackhawks have in Connor Bedard…The Devils also own the leagues top-ranked powerplay unit, operating at 30.9%. Look for them to convert if given the opportunities. In two meetings with the Blackhawks last season, the Devils won both of them 4-2. SD plays inside which makes it pound but will take away from the current weather conditions of about 30 which Davis will like being inside. Davis can run and pass well. Should be a very close game so take the points.
