With Walker out, Charbonnet should have plenty of opportunities. He has scored at least once in the past three games with Walker out of limited and I expect more of the same tonight. If the Bears ever had a good run defense, it’s certainly gone along with everything else on that team.

My pick : Anadolu Efes +5 (-115)


Monaco hosts Anadolu Efes in a key matchup between two teams with different goals this season. I think the 2 teams are about the same. So I will take the points in this game

Pitt -7

Big question mark for this game is whether or not Pitt QB Eli Holstein is playing. Starting RB Reid is confirmed to be playing, so that's a positive. However if Holstein is out, with Pitt's backup hitting the portal, that leaves redshirt freshman David Lynch as the starting QB. Personally, I think Holstein will play. But to be fair, its anyones guess and I'm basing this bet on even if he does not play, I think this Pitt team is better than Toledo. Pitt will be healthier after a few weeks of rest as injuries plagued the team towards the end of the season, leading towards their disappointing finish after being ranked early in the year. I believe there is recency bias against Pitt based on that. Pitt's defense should have the edge over Toledo. The defense line in particular, I think will be able to generate pressure. Pitt's defense is 5th in the country in sacks (against better competition than Toledo who depending on where you look, ranks in the 90-120 range in SOS). Toledo has less opt outs/transfers, so if you're betting on Toledo its based on that angle.

I see this game going over the total with the bears having nothing to play for and Seattle unlikely to get into the playoffs, I just don’t see this game being played with the necessary intensity on the defensive side of the ball.

Tol (+7) minus 120...PIT got off to a 7-0 start and then lost their QB. They have lost 5 straight. This is not where they envisioned themselves 2 months ago. That same QB does not appear to be playing in this game and they will go with a young walk on (back up is in the portal). Toledo is not as good as some of the Toledo teams of the past but I do see them able to move the ball thru the air. In what should be a relatively close game, I will take the 7 points.
