BeantownJim just stepped into the Bad Man Contest like he walked straight out of Southie with a Dunkin cup in one hand and a chip on his shoulder the size of Fenway’s left field wall. He’s not easing in, he’s kicking the door open and calling out every forum member still sitting on the sidelines like they’re tourists lost on the Green Line. He’s looking around the thread like he’s surrounded by people who talk tough but fold faster than a cheap lawn chair the second it’s time to actually enter. He’s roasting the non‑entrants with that Boston bite, wondering how a bunch of self‑proclaimed sharps can’t even enter while he’s already in and ready to swing. He’s calling out the ones acting like the entry fee is some life changing decision, telling them to stop clutching their wallets like they’re guarding the last dollar in Quincy. He’s dragging the holdouts into the spotlight, pointing at them like they’re standing on the wrong side of a Sox‑Yankees rivalry, asking how they manage to chirp all year but turn into quiet little commuters when the contest opens. BeantownJim didn’t enter to be polite, he entered to make every non‑entrant feel the sting of getting outworked, out‑muscled, and out‑hearted by a guy who came in swinging with full Boston energy, ready to flatten anyone still too timid to step into the contest. ....

They went 35 runs for 193 yards. Everyone remembers that. However let's take just one play out of that stat line. It becomes 34 rushes for 95 yards or about 2.8 yards per rush attempt. I removed the 1 play that was a run for 98 yards and a TD. Who's defense is better? IN or GA? What about strength of schedule? IN, ND, GA? Let's talk coaching? No need to. While one team was praying for the victims in the tragedy yesterday another was talking about the game. Who appears to be more focused? Who may have lost some focus? So let me answer the questions............. GA has the better defense. IN had the 65th, ND the 59th, GA the third toughest schedule. ND was praying for the victims and talking openly about the tragedy and there's nothing wrong about that. They are after all a Catholic school and one of deep faith. They were in their comfort zone. This while GA was talking about getting prepared and the game itself. This is a team that appears at least by words or body language they are more focused right now. Keep in mind this is a team that has been looked down upon ever since losing the title game last year, they have something to prove. Backup QB or not, this team is looking for redemption. If you look at power ratings, the right team is favored but that doesn't always tell the story. I'm going with GA on the ML at -/+100 But I'm looking for something better than -/+100 so I'm going to parlay GA with MS St -760 for a +126 ML Parlay. If you haven't visited resident college expert Daddy Rabbit's thread in the forum experts area, I recommend you do. He has his top play of the season going today. Caps are plus 39 in goal differential this year and Wild are plus 9. Take the Capitals.
