Two teams who are among the worst defensively and I'll take the Over. The Wizards have dropped three straight and have given up at least 114 points in four straight games, including 162 three games ago. The Kings have dropped two straight and are not faring any better defensively.

nebraska -7.5

Cornhuskers shoot and play better defense then Hoyas. Hoyas missing several ke ly pieces including Sorbert
Best player. Nebraska played the much better achedule and wins going away here

NYY/ARI Over 7.5

Rodon was solid in his first outing but it's Rodon who is rollercoaster. Gallen was not sharp in his first start giving up 4 runs in 4 innings. Gallen is also much better at home. Both teams bats have been extremely hot to start the season. Over.

Spurs/Nuggets UNDER 231.5

The Nuggets are on a back to back coming off a double OT game where Westbrook screwed up bad. I suspect they will sit either Murray or Jokic, maybe both with this game. The side opened at -15.5 and is currently -9.5 so that tells me players will be sitting for Denver. The total has also dropped from a 235.5 opener to the current 231.5 but I still like it. I expect tired players and shots at the end of the game.

My pick : Thunder's -13 (-110)

Oklahoma, the league and Western Conference leader, hosts Detroit, a solid team this year but missing key players like Cunningham, Holland, Ivey, Sar, and Stewart. Harris is likely to play.

OKC is strong at home, consistently covering double-digit lines against various opponents. Holmgren and Hartenstein are expected to play, while minor absences shouldn’t impact much.

Though OKC recently beat Detroit by just 6 points on the road, that game featured a more complete Pistons lineup, including Cunningham.

At home, led by Player of the Month Shai and supported by Dort, Wallace, and Joe, OKC should cover the line.
