Highly motivated team with everything to play for vs a team with literally nothing to play for other than spoiler at best but this team is just not an offense threat ever to speak of....mostly this Oviedo may still hold a 2-0 record but he's been walking on egg shells with that no recorded loss yet record. His team is simply not winning when he takes the mound 1-4 last 5 games. I watched the Cubs game and that was a fluke he should have had the loss in this game down 4-0 in the 1st inning, shockingly the Cubs Boyd ended up having a terrible start himself and blew the early lead...early. However, Cubs Still pulled away late 8-4 in that game. I think today is the day that Oviedo luck runs out as far as his record and he picks up his 1st loss on the year and the Reds take this by 2 or more runs. I wouldn't be shocked to see a 5-2 final in that neighborhood. The run line is always a risk due to having to win by 2 or more vs just pick up the win and that always allows for that backdoor cover or that big comeback just to win by 1 type of games but the scenario here today with getting back $1.25 is worth the risk vs laying -150 to -165 here depending on where your at. Brady Singer has been solid and solid at home and opposite what the team has done for Oviedo 1-4 last 5 the Reds are 4-1 last 5 in Singer starts and I will make note that in all those wins it has come by 3 runs or more in those games. Looking for similar results here today and see plenty of value with the plus money spot with this situation for the home team.
