TCU has a guy in QB Josh Hoover. But the Horned Frogs also have a balanced attack ranking 7th in EPA/rush and 8th in EPA/dropback. They also have a sneaky good defense that ranks 7th in EPA margin. If they have a weakness, it's pass defense, but Sam Leavitt and Arizona State don't look up to the task of taking advantage of that. Give me TCU on the moneyline in this one. All hail the Hypno Toads!

I know the Yankees are playing for more but Baltimore is playing better ball than they started the season. Today they have Trevor Rogers who is 9-2 with a 1.35 ERA. He takes on Will Warren who is 8-8 with a 4.35 ERA. Big pitching difference and O’s haven’t quit on the season.

For those that are considering playing the TCU/AZ ST game.........

Current weather is heavy rain and thunderstorms with lots of lightning. They cancelled the AZ St walk through and there may be a delay to the start of the game.

Rain is in the forecast during the game and may also include lightning. It's funny they are saying the valley received more rain in the past hour than the whole monsoon season. It's only an inch of rain but the valley isn't set up for this kind of rain. All the local channels are covering the storm because it's not something we get out here. Personally I love it and it's much much needed.

People of the desert are so ill prepared for these "storms". I call them typical thunderstorms in the midwest because that's really what they are. You would think a national emergency was underway here.

TCU and their run game and under might be the play.

With Miami on deck next week for FSU, I feel they may overlook Va. I still feel FSu will win but it'll be very close.

D-Backs +125

Geez. The reds got the win yesterday by robbing a homerun at the end that probably would have led to an extra inning loss and sweep by the Pirates lol....glad I didn't lay the run line in that one like I did Game 1 in series...I may be asking for punishment tonight but I am taking the D-backs +125 against the Padres. D-backs need every win they get to close it out. I'll side with them at this price. Plus I feel this price is kinda begging people to take the Padres at home especially after the Dodgers beat up on the D-backs yesterday. Call it a feeling of a "trap line" if you will. Both pitchers can hold their own, I'm just hoping extra motivation from the D-backs is the difference in this one.

TCU money line tonight (+140 when I took) I think TCU is going to expose Arizonas secondary weaknesses. I could see this being a close game with TCU getting some critical passing tds in the second half.

Update

While other areas of the valley are getting hit including mine the Tempe area is clear. Won’t be any delays or rain now. Quite the change from just awhile ago but who knows. Forecast shows the game won’t be affected at all.

north texas/ south alabama over 63 pts (-110 fandeul) ....jaugaurs is 3-1 to the over and north texas is 3-1 to the over. both teams are explosive on offense and average over 25ppg. but north texas at home is extra explosive. so far they played 2 home games and scored 51 and 59 pts at home. i expect them to get atleast 45pts today and south alabama to get atleast around thier average of 25pts ...which would make the game go over.
