Union Berlin pulled off a surprising 4:3 win in Frankfurt last weekend, but the result was flattering. Frankfurt dominated with 78% possession and created more chances. Even in their other win, a narrow 2:1 against Stuttgart, Union were second-best for most of the game. HSV finally earned their first win of the season, and the recent additions of Fabio Vieira and Luka Vuskovic made an immediate impact, clearly improving the team’s overall quality.

Union are slight home favorites here, but they tend to perform better when they can sit deep and counter. Against a team like Hamburg that doesn't dominate possession, Union may find it harder to control the game. There’s solid value backing HSV to get at least a point.
