Tigers Mariners first five under 3 1/2-130. Just like the first matchup, I think this will be a very low scoring game as indicated by the full game total of 5 1/2. Both teams are rarely in this situation with stakes is high so you think nerves will be a big part of this game think the cold weather in Seattle also helps and should be a final score of 2 to 1.

Detroit Tigers ML -135
The Tigers will have the easy job here — get a few runs on the board for their ace. Bullpen game for the Mariners. Detroit’s offense hasn’t been great in this series, but Seattle’s has been equally bad. I think the Tigers eke this one out behind Tarik Skubal.

Detroit with the edge on the mound tonight with Skubal. Seattle’s bullpen has been strained through this series. Detroit’s offense has recaptured momentum at the right moment, and their elimination mindset adds extra tilt. I lean Tigers ML tonight, estimating they’re underpriced given their edge in pitching and bullpen matchups. Not forcing anything so 2u it is.

Tigers get to start Tarik Skubal in this deciding game 5. He’s pitched 14.2 innings in the postseason and has allowed 3 runs. His ERA on the road this year is 2.30. He takes on George Kirby who pitched last Saturday gave up 2 runs in 5 innings. His ERA in September was 5.40. Go with the better pitcher and take the Tigers.

Huskies survived a road trip to Maryland and were thoroughly stifled by OSU. They have a bad taste in their mouth, and now have a revenge opportunity against a Rutgers team traveling close to 3000 miles on a short week. Rutgers gave up 38 to Iowa and 28 go Minnesota. I think Jedd Fisch will want to run it up here. Rutgers should get some points, so I wouldn’t hate a UW TTO, but I’ll just lay the points.

Mariners -105...The Mariners have seen Skubal 3 times this year and they won all 3 games...I Think they're the better team and should win a close one at home to move on
