IMPORTANT: This is said way to often but seems that people still do it. Just listing a “Team should win” is not a valid reason OR a valid post. That is plain lazy. But a little thought into your reason and selection. It is not complicated, especially if you are really wagering it.

Islanders-148…Bruins on back 2 back..and a game they lost 7-2…Bruins have problems losing 7 of 8..main problem is defense/goaltending they have given up 16 goals last 3 game and tonight they start backup Korpisalo coming off game he gave up 6 goals…his GAA for the year is a poor 4.03..taking the rested Islanders winners of 4 of 5

Ohtani has been lights money so far pitching in the playoffs going 12 innings with a 2.25 ERA and 0.75 WHIP. He also has the strikeouts if needed throwing 19k's in those 12 innings. And offensively if they don't want to pitch to him batting and walk him, that's a runner on base to help try and score. Betts and Freeman need to get their bats going though as they left many runners on base last night.

Blue Jays +1.5 -120
Jays battled yesterday and will not lay their heads down. They are 41-32 this year coming off a loss. I don’t think Ohtani can match his performance against the Brewers (6 innings of no runs). Bieber has a road ERA under 4 this year. Dodgers bullpen did great last night but that has not been their strength this year. Close game and Jays maybe even win it.

I’m siding with the home squad and last change at near even money. I know Neighbours is out and the Blues are off a travel back-to-back, but the market is already shading DET as a tiny fave and I disagree at this price. If Binnington gets scratched or DET flips to a hotter starter at puck drop, I’ll consider flipping if live opportunities are present.
