I'm riding with the Carolina Panthers as I believe they are a better team than the New Orleans Saints. Carolina has proven they can beat good teams, including a recent win over the Packers and a shutout victory against the Falcons at home. With the Saints quarterback dealing with an injury and Alvin Kamara a game-time decision, the Panthers' hot offense should secure the win.

The LAC O-line is beat up. My hope is that LAC will struggle to run and Herbert will be forced to throw and Pitt will pressure him. Pitt won't get 6 turnovers this week but will do enough to hold LAC under 31pts where they are 4-0SU this season when they do so.

HOU (-1)...I expect the typical first game bump with the back up QB making his first start. HOU defense is still elite. JAGs have been barely hanging on. 2nd road game in a row.

Going to be a low scoring battle here as usual with challenged offenses.

I’m backing the Chargers early where their explosive passing game should show out before adjustments. The market’s on PIT tickets but bigger money leans Chargers, and my sim puts LAC 1H cover at 63% with solid EV. Full-game spread is basically fair, so I’ll avoid laying the 3 for 60 minutes. If I see LAC ML at -145 or better I’ll sprinkle that too, but the first half is the preferred angle. BO
