From a game standpoint it was a tug of war that SEA dragged the flag across the line. From a viewership standpoint there really wasn't much excitement or keep you on the edge of your seat type game.
I don't believe the MVP of the game should've been Walker. Sure he had rushing stats, but he never scored during the game and he ran the ball 27 times for 135 yards. I recall two carries alone for 30 and 29. So in essence the rest of the game he ran 25 times for 66 yards. Sorry that's not MVP for me.
The real MVP of the game was Jason Myers, he outscored NE with a record 5 FG's and add 2 EP's for a total of 17. NE had 13 and one TD was garbage time well after the game was out of hand at 29-6.
NE lost due to Maye who's mistakes led to 17 points for SEA. His stats are very misleading 27/43 for 295 and 2 TD/2INT
He had 48 yds passing at halftime. Thanks for the prop win going over 224.5 but it took the game to be out of hand for it happen.
If there was another candidate for MVP it would've been the entire SEA Defense.
Since they won't give it to the entire D or a kicker, Walker won by default. Darnold was 19/38 for only 202.
Commercials during the game, failed. The one I liked the best was the Emma Stone for Squarespace.
