I’m on Illinois/Houston Under 140.5 for 1.0u because this sets up like a grind with two defenses that can control the game from start to finish. Houston is 4th and Illinois is 24th nationally in defensive efficiency, so neither side should get many easy looks. I also like that neither team gets to the free throw line consistently, with Houston 336th and Illinois 183rd in free throw rate, which should help keep the clock moving and limit cheap points. Houston has also been locking down the arc lately by holding teams to 26.5% or worse from three over the last three games and just 6.0 made threes per game, which matters a lot against an Illinois team that relies heavily on perimeter scoring.
