I’m backing Atlanta because the recent form edge is real: the Braves have scored 53 runs over their last 10 games while Cleveland has scored just 33, and Atlanta’s pitching staff has been even better with a 2.15 ERA over that span compared with Cleveland’s 2.76. Bryce Elder has also looked steadier than Slade Cecconi, with 13 strikeouts and just 2 earned runs through his first two starts, while Atlanta’s bullpen comes in fresher and ranked near the top of the league recently with a 2.72 ERA over the last five games. Even with the Braves getting a small flat spot from returning home after a road trip, the offense, starter, and bullpen all still point to Atlanta having the cleaner path to a win in a game that I predict having a 4-3 type score.
