New York Mets / Chicago Cubs under 8.5
Taillon (0-1, 4.86 ERA) has struggled in his last two starts, but facing NY gives him a great chance to get right while the Mets’ bats are cold. Peralta has been solid for the Mets, allowing just five runs in 16 innings over his last three starts. The Chicago Cubs have a .727 OPS against right-handed pitching this season, 61 points lower than their mark against southpaws. I like both pitchers to keep this game manageable and help us hit the Under.

Look for Houst to bouse back and even this series tonite as I think they have a big edge in starting pitching with McCullers who is off to a good start this season so far and as for Pallante not so good a start plus the one time he faced Houst he got his head handed to him to the tune of a 16.20 ERA so let’s take the better pitcher and better hitting team in the ASTROS

I like that the Wild are going with a better, hotter goal keeper over experience. Jesper Wallstedt starts for the Wild. Here’s 18-9-6 this year with a .915 save percentage. He’s giving up 2.6 goals per game. He’s starting over Flip Gustavsson who has been struggling the last month. Wild know that going 1-1 in the first two games is the key. I think they get it done in game one with Wallstedt.

Without Reaves and Doncic I don't think this will be a series. Houston is red hot winners of 9 out of 10 and will be too much for the banged up Lakers. I see this series going no more than 5 games including an easy game 1 win on the road today

Den over 231.5 this will be a score fest the first team to 130 wins. I see both teams scoring over at least 110 and this being in a high scoring game a playoff atmosphere and a lot of shots of being attempted to take the over.
