Reading "under the lines" this is like a deal in baccarat. A 2 and 6 come out for the Cavs giving them a total of 8 and a 1 and 5 for the Pistons giving them a total of 6. The difference in the totals is 2 (8-6). Therefore go with the Cavs who should be set at +2.0 but are getting an extra +1.5 spread at +3.5 (probably done on purpose to get sharp money to help balance the books in this "won").

Pistons -3.5. I’ll roll with pistons again as I really think they have found their groove. It took them one series to really find themselves, but I think we are seeing the better team here at home so I’m not going to overthink it

Gore has an ERA of 4.67, but he has a high K rate of 45 strikeouts in 34 innings pitched, Blackburn’s strikeout rate is not good but his ERA is 3.21 and his WHIP is 1.36. In an early start, I expect both pitchers to start sharp and get out of the 1st inning without a run. Good luck

Flyers ML +145, I don’t see this series being as lopsided as the Carolina Ottawa first round matchup, the flyers are fully capable of holding serve at home with their lockdown defence that Pittsburgh struggled to crack for the majority of their round 1 series. As this series continues I expect goals to be sparse and hard to come by and at +145 I’ll take my chances on getting a lucky bounce to decide a game any day of the week

St. Louis / San Diego over 8

When Matthew Liberatore takes the mound, Overs tend to follow. Six of his seven starts this season have gone Over the total, and both offenses are swinging hot bats entering tonight. The Padres have scored 15 runs over their last two games, while the Cardinals rank first in OPS against right-handed pitching over the last two weeks and sit second in runs per game on the road. With both lineups heating up, this matchup has strong potential to turn into a high-scoring game.

Both these offenses can put up some runs and with the pitching matchup we have today I see no problem with these teams combining for 9 + runs. Ginn for Oakland his last 3 starts has gone 13 innings giving up 14 hits and 8 earned runs. On the others side Painter for Philadelphia has been worse. His last 3 starts he's gone 14 + innings giving up 21 hits and 11 earned runs. Look for some offensive fireworks tonight w an easy over

Chet Holmgren Over 8.5 Rebounds (-115)

This is kind of a high total but the Lakers don'[t really have to match up with him and with the Lakers offense in the state it is in, Holmgren should have plenty of opportunities to grab boards....He had 12 in Game 1. I see much of the same here...
