I’m backing the Dodgers because Emmet Sheehan has been the much steadier arm, coming in 3-1 with a 4.54 ERA and 49 Ks. Griffin Canning has been a mess for San Diego at 0-2 with a 10.64 ERA, and he’s coming off multiple rough outings. Sheehan just gave L.A. six innings of two-run ball with six strikeouts, which is the kind of form I trust more here. After getting shut out last night, I expect the Dodgers’ bats to respond against the weaker starter.
