Tampa Bay has a huge edge on the mound tonight with Nick Martinez carrying a sparkling 1.51 ERA and 4-1 record into the matchup, while Walbert Ureña has pitched well but still brings more traffic concerns and a much less proven track record against a lineup as disciplined as the Rays. The Angels come in off a nice stretch, but Tampa remains one of the best teams in baseball at 34-19 and is returning home after a rough road swing where several losses came by a single run. The Rays also own the deeper bullpen and a significant edge in overall run prevention, which becomes even more important in a game projected to be low scoring. With the better starter, better roster, and home field advantage, Tampa is in a strong position to bounce back and take care of business tonight.

The biggest edge is the bullpen with Braves having a 3.16 ERA and a 1.11 WHIP, and the Reds with a 4.92 ERA and a 1.52 WHIP

Phillies -101….Wheeler has been the best pitcher in baseball…has not given up a run in 13 innings and 1 run in the last 20…not often going against Dodgers this might be the only time that makes sense

Pirates ML -135, I thought Jared jones was going to be the ace of this pirates staff watching him in 2024 at 22 years old there’s always a lot of question marks when a guy has been out this long but I don’t know if you ever see this cheap of a price on him again

Imanaga started strong this season, allowing 14 runs in 9 games, but the last 2 games he allowed 15 runs in 10 1/3 innings, increasing his ERA to 4.04, Pallante has ERA of 3.76. Cubs won the last 2 games after losing 10 in a row, ST. Louis has lost 6 of the last 7. Looking for the Cubs to continue their current winning and for Imanaga to return back to his earlier form.
