Neither offense has been doing a lot lately and both teams have good pitching starting. Yanks go with Carlos Rodon who’s 1-2 but a solid 2.88 ERA and 1.20 WHIP. Cleveland has Parker Messick going and he’s 6-2, 2.40 ERA and 1.07 WHIP. Runs should be tough to get today.

This has been one of my favorite angles to attack all season: the San Francisco Giants against a left-handed pitcher. Their offense is already pretty poor on a good day, and when you put Luis Arraez and Rafael Devers at a disadvantage in this matchup, it’s fair to question where the offense is going to come from. In this spot, it’s more than just that. A lot of it has to do with the roster construction of the Washington Nationals at Oracle Park. It’s a spacious park with plenty of room to run, and the Nationals boast an athletic outfield that can track down balls in the gaps, along with an offense capable of taking extra bases thanks to its speed.

Braves ML -144. Chris Sale has been dealing lately and gives Atlanta a clear edge on the mound, especially against a White Sox team that has been much more vulnerable to quality left-handed pitching. The Braves also hold a significant bullpen advantage, which is a big factor when backing a road favorite in what could be a competitive game early. Atlanta enters in excellent form after winning eight of its last ten, while Chicago's pitching staff has been far less reliable behind Davis Martin despite his solid overall numbers. As long as Ronald Acuña Jr.'s status doesn't become a major issue, Atlanta is the side to back.
