Seahawks @ Titans tonight (Aug. 23, 2026)
Most important factor: QB participation
Tennessee has the major preseason advantage in motivation/playing time.
Titans coach Robert Saleh has said starters will play, with Cam Ward expected to get roughly 20–25 snaps.
Seattle is taking a different approach. Reports indicate Sam Darnold, Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Cooper Kupp are expected to sit,
leaving Drew Lock and Jalen Milroe to handle quarterback duties.
One caution: official NFL inactive lists are normally released shortly before kickoff,
so the “sit” list below means players currently reported/expected to sit, not yet an official inactive designation.
Seattle Seahawks
Expected to PLAY / likely significant snaps
Drew Lock — QB
Jalen Milroe — QB
Jadarian Price — RB — returned to padded practice, but his exact game workload remains uncertain.
Montorie Foster Jr. — WR
Ricky White III — WR
Cody White — WR
Emmanuel Henderson Jr. — WR/RB
Other young/depth players competing for roster positions.
Seattle's coach appears much more interested in evaluating the second/third units than giving its established starters a long workload.
Expected to SIT / limited or uncertain
Sam Darnold — QB — expected SIT
Jaxon Smith-Njigba — WR — expected SIT
Cooper Kupp — WR — expected SIT
Jake Bobo — WR — OUT, season-ending IR

Several other established starters are expected to receive little or no game action.
Bobo is officially on season-ending IR after the knee injury suffered during Friday's joint practice.
Horton is also expected to miss this game.
