These teams played each other last week and the same 2 pitchers squared off against each other in SF with SF winning 2-1 both went 6 inn I like the situation when 2 pitchers meet in consecutive starts especially when the team that’s home lost the last meeting so SF is not good vs LHP(18-26)plus they played the Sunday nite game and have to travel as for STL pitcher Mathews his record of 1-3 doesn’t show how well he has pitched he has given up 2 runs or less in 5 of his 6 starts hopefully tonite the Cards give him a little better run support since they are at home so I am taking STL

Chiefs ML. I think the Chiefs are a little undervalued at home for this game. Yes they had a terrible year and yes the broncos are a good team, but I feel like the chiefs have something to prove and being at home for week 1 they’ll come out of arrowhead with the win.

STL (-130). STL still playing hard. Took 2 of 3 from CHW over the weekend. SF has been playing out the string in what has been a woeful year for their new manager. Both pitchers are equal but just played each other with SF getting the win so like the reversal with STL at home. Fevers had been hot lately but they are shutting him down so his bat will be missed.

Broncos/Chiefs UNDER 43.5

With Mahomes coming back from a knee injury, I think the Chiefs will want to run the ball more with Kenneth Walker. I also think Mahomes will think twice and run less to extend plays and not try to be the hero he's always played like. The Broncos were 2nd in defense last year and led the league in sacks. I think they can contain a less mobile Mahomes. When Broncos have the ball, nobody on the team really scares me. Dobbins as the RB1 is decent, but he's injury prone and has a ceiling. Their big pick up on offense was Jaylen Waddle but he doesn't scare me. Chiefs defense last year was ranked 6th in points allowed at 19.3 so the defense there is solid.
