Like the astros after losing last night. They are tied with the Rangers in the West so have a lot to play for. Peter Lambert goes for the Astros and he’s 8-10 with a 3.70 ERA. He has not given up over 3 runs in his last 5 games. Mason Barnett goes for the A’s. He’s 1-4 with a 7.16 ERA. He’s given up 19 runs in his last 4 starts.

Houston Astros -1 -135 Action
I like Houston here mainly because the starting pitching matchup is such a big advantage. Peter Lambert has been solid and is pitching deep into games, while Mason Barnett has a 7.16 ERA and 1.75 WHIP and has struggled to get through five innings. Oakland is also missing several important bats, while Houston still has plenty to play for in the AL West race. The Astros bullpen has been shaky lately, so I prefer -1 over laying a bigger number on -1.5 and still get the push if Houston wins by one.
