Dustin May of late hadn’t been very good in his last 7 starts he hasn’t gone only went past 4 inn once and the other 5 starts were all less than 4 inn now for Nick Pivetta it looks like SD is being very cautious with him as in his last 5 starts he is 5-0 with an ERA of 1.63 and hasn’t gone more than 5 inn in any of his starts since coming back from being injured SD most people would say has the best bullpen in the league but they have given up the runs that lost both games in Milw so with this play we are avoiding the bullpen and are only worried about the F5 inn where Pivetta has been good so take SD ML F5

Saros has been sharp out of the gate, .933 with a 2.03 GAA through two starts, and Nashville just ground out a 2-1 win over Dallas on two power play goals. Toronto has scored exactly two goals in all three games and sits 1-2. Plus money with the better goalie in a low-event game, I'll take it.

I know I'm being a square in this matchup but we got two aces going for both teams. Yamamoto has a 2.53 ERA and 0.87 WHIP and Sale a 2.16 ERA and a 0.98 WHIP. They both also possess a strike out possibility to help get out of jams. Collectively, the last 10 games for the Dodgers their team ERA is 2.18 so their bullpen has been solid too. I thought about first five under but that was 3. Wanted 3.5.

Yamamoto hasn't pitched since 2 weeks ago which does make me a little nervous but he was pitching great before that. In his last 3 starts he gone 20 innings giving up just 9 hits and 3 earned runs. Sale for Atlanta has also been pitching well. In his last 3 outings he's gone 13+ innings giving up 9 hits and 4 earned runs. I see both these pitchers pitching their A game today and look for 3-1, 3-2 style game
