Both these teams have great defenses. In 7 games this year Iowa is giving up 16.7 points a game defensively. Thats with giving up 41 against ND week 1. You take out that outlier and Wisconsin is giving up 12.7 points on average the last 6 games . Iowa on the other hand is giving up 14.2 points a game this year. They also have one bad game where they gave up 32 to Ohio State. In their other 6 games they have giving up on average 11.5 a game. Look for a low scoring defensive battle

I wouldn't expect No. Illinois to be competitive in this game, their offense just doesn't measure up against UNLV's defense. However, they've been adept at getting good starting field position and this should give them enough opportunities to put 2-3 scores on the board. UNLV should take this game without a problem but 24 points is too much.

The setup in this game reminds me of the Ole Miss-Texas game from last week. The Rebels came into that game off back to back blowout wins while the Longhorns were off back to back upset losses. It seemed like everyone was on Ole Miss, but Texas brought home the money in a 34-27 win. Here we have a Wildcat team that's played as well as any team in the country over the past three weeks, outscoring their opponents by a combined 125-41. Meanwhile, the Red Raiders suffered their first loss of the season, a 37-24 beatdown at Cincinnati, in a game that wasn't that close. Much like Texas, their backs are against the wall. But over the past two seasons Texas Tech is 11-0 SU at home in Lubbock including 11-2-1 ATS as chalk. As good as Arizona has looked, the last time they played a team of this caliber on the road was a 28-17 loss at BYU clear back in Week Two. The drop in the line from the opener screams value. Time for the Red Raiders to circle the wagons.
