The preseason is underway so it's again time to predict your Super Bowl Winner for the upcoming season.

As usual I'll post my thoughts on the divisions and who I think will represent each conference in the Super Bowl.

What's yours?

Looks like we have the same outcome for all of the AFC this year.

Well, what's your play off predictions NOW. Looks like we were a little off on the NFC this year.

I'm really liking Denver right now, but I have to take a look at my power numbers yet when I update them later this week.

Who is everyones playoff outcome? Lets see them.

Time to play the Game
6 Cincinnati vs 3 Houston ====> 3 Houston
5 Indy at 4 Baltimore ===> 4 Baltimore
6 Minnesota at 3 Green Bay ===> 3 Green Bay
5 Seattle at 4 Washington ===> 5 Seattle

4 Baltimore vs 1 Denver ===> 1 Denver
3 Houston vs 2 New England ===> 2 New England
3 Green Bay vs 2 San Francisco ===> 2 San Francisco
5 Seattle vs 1 Atlanta ===> 5 Seattle

2 New England vs 1 Denver ===> 2 New England
5 Seattle vs 2 San Francisco ===> 2 San Francisco

2 New England vs 2 San Francisco ===> New England

For the most part the playoffs are going to be about revenge. Cincinnati won't get theirs vs Houston in Round 1. Houston smacked them last year in the playoffs and the same will hold true here. The current line of Houston -4 is an absolute gift and one that I would pound like a free night at a brothel full of hot chicks.

Minnesota and Green Bay played in week 17 and home field was big for Minnesota. In both meetings this year the winner has had the time of possession on their side. At Green Bay the pack had it 17 more minutes and ran 20 more plays. On Sunday the Vikings had it about 4 minutes longer and ran only 5 more plays. Peterson will get his rushing yards that isn't going to change in a week and he ran wild in both games. The difference in both games was at QB where Rogers dominated both games, the difference between the first and second meeting is that Ponder was only about 100 yards less compared to 164 the first time. Home field is big here and Minnesota actually played decent at Green Bay, I remember how Minnesota missed the FG in the last minute to get the cover and lost by 9 when GB was favored by 8.5. Sunday the Pack was 3 to 3.5 and now open this game at 8. So the linesmakers are giving Minnesota a little more credit after Sunday's win. I don't think it matters, Green Bay wins this one.

Indy at Baltimore. I think this is going to be a tough spot for the Colts, yes the Ravens are reeling but I don't think they have really given a max effort the last 4-5 weeks outside of the NY Giants game. They rested players at Cincy and anytime the Colts played a decent team on the road they had difficulties. @Chicago @ New England @ Houston losses by 20,35 and 11. Baltimore beat Cincinnati, New England, Dallas and the NY Giants. I just think we will see a different team this week than we have seen down the stretch. Keep in mind who they've played in 7 consecutive weeks: @Pittsburgh @ San Diego, Pittsburgh @ Washington, Denver, NY Giants @ Cincy. Physical draining games against arch rival Pittsburgh, cross country to San Diego then an emotional game vs Washington, then the # 1 seed Denver, a monster effort vs NY Giants and a game they rested the majority of their main players on Sunday. Indy had the luxury of playing Detroit, Tennessee, Kansas City and Buffalo while mixing in 2 games vs Houston and 1 vs New England where they went 1-2 vs Houston and New England. I'll support the vets and a team that basically has played playoff caliber type teams down the stretch for the last 7 weeks.

Seattle @ Washington -- A hobbled RGIII spells doom for Washington. It starts and ends there. He will play but won't be 100% and Seattle is the type of defensive team that will take away a lot of what Washington does. To see this game open at pick em and now Seattle is favored by 2.5 pretty much sums it up. Washington won't slow down Lynch and may be able to keep this close but in the 4th quarter they will be worn down. The best thing that could've happened for Seattle was to have to have played the Rams Sunday. If they blew them out or scored 40+ points for a 4th straight week they would come into this over confident. To me that should bring them back to earth and know they are going to play tough teams. The other thing that I think helps Seattle is playing Sunday and the late game. Even though they make the super long trip across the 3 time zones, they get the best of it all. They play at 430 which is 130 PAC which is even later than they play at home. They stay on routine and they can get acclimated quickly. I know Washington has won 7 in a row, I know Seattle is 3-5 on the road.

Again the health of RGIII is the difference. Kirk Cousins beating Cleveland didn't impress me at all. If you remember Cleveland was ahead 14-10 at the half and if it wasn't for Weeden tossing 2 picks which lead to two Washington scores that game could've turned out quite different.

If you saw how RGIII was limping after taking a beating from Dallas in the late 3rd and 4th quarter that has to be a major concern. 3/4 of RGIII or even 90% of RGIII won't do it against Seattle.

Let's see how this plays out and I will give another round of write ups next week.

Freak, GB can't play Atlanta they are the higher seed. You have the second round match ups wrong in the NFC.

Looking forward to your thought process on your selections specifically in the NFC. I know from a handicapping perspective you're looking for the winner only, I am as well for the most part. Haven't looked to see what the lines are for the upcoming games.

I believe that GB is the better team plus they have the revenge factor from the game that they lost to SF in the regular season at GB. GB only lost 2 games last year and are now getting healthy at the right time this year. Atlanta is looking to revenge there last year playoff loss plus this is the last run for the TE Gonzo. This is also the second east coast trip in the last two weeks for Seahawks and that is rough to do. My numbers shows GB wins by 3 and Atlanta wins by 6. In the AFC my numbers say NE wins by 10 and Denver wins by 13.

The road of revenge went through Denver but never made it to the bay. Some rather poor play calls for Denver, a porous defense and a true breakdown that cost them the game with under a minute to go in OT.

Champ Bailey was beaten like a mule and my goodness how do you allow yourself to get beat over the top with safety coverage up by 7 with under a minute to go. They deserved to lose and now Peyton can go manage his Papa Johns Pizza locations and make more commercials. It will now be the only way he makes it to the Super Bowl.

I think Baltimore will keep the game closer than expected. They just seem to be a team of destiny right now. I wouldn't be shocked if they won the game.

As for Atlanta they are going to have their hands full but again we have a West team coming East. If you look at how I came up with what I did, I didn't have SF on the road and certainly didn't have a Ray Lewis inspired team.

I thought NE could expose Denver like Baltimore did and that happened a week early. At the same time I expected a nitty gritty dirt fight in the trenches with Sea/SF, I don't think we get that with SF/ATL. Atlanta is in better shape since they beat SEA. They got a SF preview a week early.

Perhaps break the money in half and play on the side you like in Atlanta and the other half on the ML at +$

Just a thought.

I was spot on with the teaser play and Baltimore keeping it close and perhaps winning SU of which they did.

We now have Baltimore vs San Francisco in the Super Bowl. San Francisco opened on a dead number of 5 which was smart of the books because they are going to push the number to SF -4 or SF -6. I think SF -3 is really the fair number. Anything 4 or more and it's Baltimore. As I said in the above post they are a team of destiny and if we go back to the preseason it should be no surprise to I or Whitesox or anyone that paid attention we both said Baltimore would be in the Super Bowl for the AFC.

Should be an interesting couple of weeks until we get to the Super Bowl.
