I was e-mailed by a member asking what to do and rather than just reply to them, this is a great time to educate.
I was told they liked KC and NO on the $line and which way was best to play it. They wanted to know if the parlay option was the way to go.
Here goes.......
Most common lines right now is KC -500 and NO -145
A $500 parlay on this pays $513.82
If you played KC -500 to win $100 and then turned around and bet $600 on New Orleans at -145 you end up with $1013.82
In either event you end up with the same amount of $$$.
Which way would I play it?? If it was me I would bet them in singles. You might get a better ML on New Orleans or if the line goes to -2.5 you can flat bet it and make more. Even if it loses, you would've lost on the parlay anyway. This option gives you more flexibility. If the ML goes up, that's just the risk you take and you can scratch the wager and take your $100 profit if KC wins.
