Two factors for me. A trend I like is an unranked home underdog of at least 7 points against a ranked opponent. This coupled with the familiarity that they have against a conference opponent should benefit the team getting the points.

CSU Rams +7 at Draftkings as of 3:30 MST on 9/10.

As much as I hate to pick the Rams being a CU alumnus, the Buffs are in trouble.

The schedule was stacked against CU for this season. Their cupcake game is against NDSU who only play 1 FBS team this year, so it was their biggest game of the season, then on the road to Nebraska who got embarrassed by CU last year and caused their "prize" QB transfer from turnover U to be exposed, and then against CSU which only cares about 1 game all season, this one. Add in, CSU is playing this game at home, on campus for the first time in decades. This will be the first game the Rams will sell out since their stadium since it opened 7 years ago. Plus, I'll admit it, CU has regressed from last year, somehow. CU has a target on their back. CSU has revenge and the Buffs are clearly not a team. CSU comes together for this game every year because it's so important to them. Meanwhile, CU plays down because it's against a group of 5 team. It's not much of a rivalry based off the record. Also, do you think these kids that just transferred in care much about beating a team that plays in what's left of the Mountain West?

Lastly and most importantly, no one has ever said they want Pat Shurmur as their offensive coordinator because the guy is a terrible offensive coach. Nearly every time he has been promoted is because the guy ahead of him got fired. Usually because the team loses because they can't score! Shurmur is incapable of blowing anyone out. The Buffs are more talented in nearly every position but their coaching staff is extremely suspect. If the Buffs had a different offensive coordinator I believe they would win but with a defense that is routinely out of position and giving up big play after big play and extending drives with penalties, I don't think the Buffs (Shurmur) can keep up.

I'll take the Rams to cover but I am debating taking them on the ML.

Oregon -16.5
I see a significant difference in talent here, especially on offense. QB Gabriel has over 600 passing yards with no picks this season despite a slow start from Oregon's OL (7 sacks allowed).

Purdue +9.5 can win out heart trenching loss lat week

Irish man for man are levels above Purdue-if this line was at 10 or more I would not play it -but at 8 i may buy to 7 and go with the Irish

I have started this season off a little choppy. I’m due.

Florida State -6’ at home over Memphis. Better team and I believe with a little chip on their shoulder. History on QB is he tends to bounce back after a few struggles.

LSU -5 at South Carolina. I lost on the Cocks last week at KY. They looked good. I ain’t buying it.
LSU way better team on both sides of ball and too have something to prove here. They pull away late.

Oregon

Hasn't showed everything they have and expecting a statement win in the Civil War

BC +15.5……. BC is a scrappy team, Missouri hasn’t played anyone yet and remember BC beat Fla st. I think BC will play a tough physical game against Missouri. They haven’t played each other since 2021 and BC won that game 41-34. BC has the players to mix up pretty well with Missouri. Who knows, you might see an upset here.

App State ML, I think this is a perfect rebound spot where they win in a shootout after getting their doors blown off last week by Clemson.

Since 2006, UK (+17.5) is 8-1 at HOME vs. UGA and the oddsmakers are giving us +4.5 for free.  UK got demolished last week by South Carolina because they were looking ahead to this game.  Vandagriff has the cheat code for Georgia.  I just saw that their CB Harris got arrested for reckless driving, which won't help their focus.  Give me the HOME DOG at NIGHT.

Houston -4.5.

Houston was impressive last week against OU. Their defense is really solid. They have enough offense to get by a weak Rice team.

Missouri defense has not given up a point this year and don’t see BC scoring over 16 points. BC should not even be rated. Offense gains over 400 yds today.
