UTEP is still looking for their first win of the season and unfortunately, they likely won't get it tonight being a 19-point underdog. However, with the exception of their first game of the season against Nebraska, they haven't lost by more than 20 points.
W. Kentucky is definitely the better team with a pretty good qb in Veltkamp. He's young but does have the measurables that will intrigue some NFL teams. W. KY is coming off a bye week and does have Sam Houston on deck so they may not be crisp and Veltcamp has been turning the ball over 3+ times in the last two games. I can see W. KY having a hard time getting up for this game as UTEP is 0-5 and they are coming off the bye week.

I hesitate to take a side on this game as W. KY is coming off a 1-point loss to Boston College and if UTEP has any chance in this game, they are going to have to slow it down since they won't be able to complete with pass happy W. KY. Further, UTEP is a sloppy team, one of the worst in college football. They get penalized a lot and drop a lot of passes. UTEP's coach stated this week that he liked the progress the team made in the running game last week and plan to build on that against W. KY. Unfortunately for UTEP, I feel they're going to have several drives killed by penalties tonight. As for W. KY, I can see them having a hard time getting up for this late Thursday night game as UTEP is 0-5 and W. KY is coming off the bye week plus they are 4-0 all-time against UTEP.

SF needs a win after 2 collapses, Seahawks have a lot of injuries in the secondary, the last 5 games, SF has won by double digits, except one that they won by 8.

Seattle is a tough place to play at and these 2 teams match up to each other closer that people think. Seattle will spread out the offense on SF and it seems that the 49ers Defense has a harder time with teams that do this. This is also the 3rd road game in a row for the 49ers.

A possibility that the 49ers is the thorn in their side and until the seahawks proves me otherwise I see 6 in a row tonight ...The 49ers do not want to be sitting 2-4 ...This game is at the right time for the 49ers I look for a touchdown or more win tonight for the niners to right their season on a path they need...I know Mccaffery being out has hurt them some but I feel tonight they can get this win and cover the -3.5...BOL2A
