Let’s Make That $$$$ returns for 2026.

2025 closed at 15–8, +540, all graded on a standard to win $100 setup.

I’ve always done well with teasers, but that’s history and history doesn’t cash tickets in the future.

Last season was all about streaks.
Opened 0–1 (–130), then rattled off five straight to get to 5–1.
Dropped one, won one, dropped two to be 6–4.
Then a six‑game heater to hit 12–4.
Finished with a run of lose two, win two, lose two, won the finale to finish 15–8.

The point of laying out the sequence is simple: the season didn’t move in a straight line it moved in clusters.

Here we go Week 1 of the NFL season for 2026.

I'm looking to start the season off with a bang and bring home a nice plus win ticket to start.

To keep it simple, I'll use the $100 to win plus or x to win $100.

Let me give you some thoughts:

Detroit -1 There's a lot of hype on both New Orleans and Detroit. Will NO continue the path forward with their QB or will they regress. The Lions are expected to rebound from an underwhelming year and Dan Campbell the ATS covering machine that he is will look to rebound and get out the gates strong. At this point, it's all just hype as it is every week 1, ask the Rams about it. I think the Lions will do just enough here.

Houston +7.5, I took Houston +1.5 in Bad Man why wouldn't I like them at +7.5 at home. This is likely going to be a struggle for both sides on offense. Shroud historically has started slow. It may be the same here and the defense will keep them in the game. New coach new beginnings in Buffalo. Without a lot of starter action in pre season, how prepared really are the Bills with a new set up all around. Josh will use his legs a lot and I don't think it's going to be enough. Tough place to play in the opener and I don't care who you are.

Jacksonville -2.5, Mind you I took Cleveland in Bad Man but at +8.5. This game may be closer than people think. I can see a Jacksonville win by 3 late. I could be super wrong on Cleveland with the 8.5 but teams in week 1 getting 6.5 or more are 53-30 ATS. It's a play on that stat but looking for a Jacksonville 3-7 point win in the opener.

Listen week 1 is a crap shoot, you don't know much. People think they do, they don't. If they tell you they do, their full of shit. I don't know anything extra about week 1 than anyone else.

I've been successful in teasers for a long long time, hence why I'm taking an early shot at +160 to get us rolling out of the gates. If we do lose, it's just 1 unit and you can get that back the following week and be even or at + money. A lot harder to be down 1.x units and be plus after week 2.

This teaser was reduced to a two teamer due to the tie the reduce rate wager turns into -110. The pay out based on $100 is $90.90 for simplicity and record keeping sake, I'm just going to call it $91.

In any event the only thing that went right for me on Sunday was to deliver another winner to the two or three people that actually read my thread. It's discouraging to say the least. Yep and it's only week 1.

I had Detroit as a PK in one of my teasers and I was holding my breath on that 2 point conversion New Orleans had.

Week 2 we aren't waiting around and making the play early this week. Perhaps it will bring some discussion, perhaps it will be a waste of my time. In either event, I am still Looking to Make That $$$$..

As a refresher, if it's a minus I bet to win $100, if it's plus money then it's $100 to win x. We use $100 to keep the math simple but I can assure you the wager is much larger on my end.

TB -2.5 this is a role reversal from last week when I had a little faith in the Browns. That faith was wiped clean and then some. The preseason hype that the Browns could win 6+ games this year and be competitive was nowhere to be displayed last week. While I don't put a ton of stock on week 1, how can you ignore how bad it was. It wasn't that it was bad, it was horrendous. Now the calls for interception machine Sanders are underway. It won't matter who starts at QB, this organization needs a massive overhaul starting with the ownership down to the GM. As for TB, they didn't play bad in week 1, the game was competitive and they had their chances on the road. They aren't going 0-2 to start the season and should win this one comfortably.

BAL -2 - BAL played a really good first game on the road where the Colts were the trendy underdog. The offense seemed to be a bit crisper and the defense did what was needed to win going away. As for the Saints, let's face it, they battled and came up short but I will add the Lions defense disappeared the final 20 minutes and the one drive against them in OT. That's simply not going to happen here. We get the superior team in their home opener under a FG and I'll take that in this match up every time. Slough will find the sledding and the surface a bit tougher than the fast track he plays on at home and what he had in Detroit.

KC -0.5 - Don't look now but the Chiefs are back. Well at least after one game but that one game was mind blowing to say the least. Leading up to the few minutes before kick a huge amount of Denver money came in to knock the line down to KC -1.5 but in a flash the snap back on KC pushed it right back to -2.5. Carson Wentz vs Patrick Mahomes, who are you taking to get you a win? That's all that needs to be said here. Simply put the winner gets the money in this game. If we get this far since it is the Sunday night game, you have the option to play for a middle by taking IND +7.5 to try to double dip. Not here, I'll be sitting on KC and Mahomes to deliver yet again. I'm going to add this, KC is going to be a totally different team than what we've seen in the past. They finally have a RB that can make a huge difference. Whether it be running the ball or catching it out of the backfield. The pressure will be off Mahomes to just manage the game than be forced to win it off his legs or arms. Now he simply wins with his brains. He's going to be dangerous as ever and the NFL Comeback Player of the Year.
