Let’s Make That $$$$ returns for 2026.

2025 closed at 15–8, +540, all graded on a standard to win $100 setup.

I’ve always done well with teasers, but that’s history and history doesn’t cash tickets in the future.

Last season was all about streaks.
Opened 0–1 (–130), then rattled off five straight to get to 5–1.
Dropped one, won one, dropped two to be 6–4.
Then a six‑game heater to hit 12–4.
Finished with a run of lose two, win two, lose two, won the finale to finish 15–8.

The point of laying out the sequence is simple: the season didn’t move in a straight line it moved in clusters.

Looking forward to the 2026 season.

Here we go Week 1 of the NFL season for 2026.

I'm looking to start the season off with a bang and bring home a nice plus win ticket to start.

Season Record 0-0 +/- 0
Last Season 15-8 +540

The Wager:

Three Team Six Point Teaser

Detroit Lions -1
Houston Texans +7.5
Jacksonville Jaguars -2.5

Bet $100 Win $160

To keep it simple, I'll use the $100 to win plus or x to win $100.

Let me give you some thoughts:

Detroit -1 There's a lot of hype on both New Orleans and Detroit. Will NO continue the path forward with their QB or will they regress. The Lions are expected to rebound from an underwhelming year and Dan Campbell the ATS covering machine that he is will look to rebound and get out the gates strong. At this point, it's all just hype as it is every week 1, ask the Rams about it. I think the Lions will do just enough here.

Houston +7.5, I took Houston +1.5 in Bad Man why wouldn't I like them at +7.5 at home. This is likely going to be a struggle for both sides on offense. Shroud historically has started slow. It may be the same here and the defense will keep them in the game. New coach new beginnings in Buffalo. Without a lot of starter action in pre season, how prepared really are the Bills with a new set up all around. Josh will use his legs a lot and I don't think it's going to be enough. Tough place to play in the opener and I don't care who you are.

Jacksonville -2.5, Mind you I took Cleveland in Bad Man but at +8.5. This game may be closer than people think. I can see a Jacksonville win by 3 late. I could be super wrong on Cleveland with the 8.5 but teams in week 1 getting 6.5 or more are 53-30 ATS. It's a play on that stat but looking for a Jacksonville 3-7 point win in the opener.

Listen week 1 is a crap shoot, you don't know much. People think they do, they don't. If they tell you they do, their full of shit. I don't know anything extra about week 1 than anyone else.

I've been successful in teasers for a long long time, hence why I'm taking an early shot at +160 to get us rolling out of the gates. If we do lose, it's just 1 unit and you can get that back the following week and be even or at + money. A lot harder to be down 1.x units and be plus after week 2.

Season Record 1-0 +91
Last Week 1-0 +91

Week 2 we aren't waiting around and making the play early this week. Perhaps it will bring some discussion, perhaps it will be a waste of my time. In either event, I am still Looking to Make That $$$$..

Let's get to it shall we:

6PT Teaser:

Tampa Bay Buccaneers -2.5 (-110)
Baltimore Ravens -2 (-110)
Kansas City Chiefs -0.5 (-115)

Bet $100 Win $160

As a refresher, if it's a minus I bet to win $100, if it's plus money then it's $100 to win x. We use $100 to keep the math simple but I can assure you the wager is much larger on my end.

TB -2.5 this is a role reversal from last week when I had a little faith in the Browns. That faith was wiped clean and then some. The preseason hype that the Browns could win 6+ games this year and be competitive was nowhere to be displayed last week. While I don't put a ton of stock on week 1, how can you ignore how bad it was. It wasn't that it was bad, it was horrendous. Now the calls for interception machine Sanders are underway. It won't matter who starts at QB, this organization needs a massive overhaul starting with the ownership down to the GM. As for TB, they didn't play bad in week 1, the game was competitive and they had their chances on the road. They aren't going 0-2 to start the season and should win this one comfortably.

BAL -2 - BAL played a really good first game on the road where the Colts were the trendy underdog. The offense seemed to be a bit crisper and the defense did what was needed to win going away. As for the Saints, let's face it, they battled and came up short but I will add the Lions defense disappeared the final 20 minutes and the one drive against them in OT. That's simply not going to happen here. We get the superior team in their home opener under a FG and I'll take that in this match up every time. Slough will find the sledding and the surface a bit tougher than the fast track he plays on at home and what he had in Detroit.

KC -0.5 - Don't look now but the Chiefs are back. Well at least after one game but that one game was mind blowing to say the least. Leading up to the few minutes before kick a huge amount of Denver money came in to knock the line down to KC -1.5 but in a flash the snap back on KC pushed it right back to -2.5. Daniel Jones vs Patrick Mahomes, who are you taking to get you a win? That's all that needs to be said here. Simply put the winner gets the money in this game. If we get this far since it is the Sunday night game, you have the option to play for a middle by taking IND +6.5 to try to double dip. Not here, I'll be sitting on KC and Mahomes to deliver yet again. I'm going to add this, KC is going to be a totally different team than what we've seen in the past. They finally have a RB that can make a huge difference. Whether it be running the ball or catching it out of the backfield. The pressure will be off Mahomes to just manage the game than be forced to win it off his legs or arms. Now he simply wins with his brains. He's going to be dangerous as ever and the NFL Comeback Player of the Year.

Let's Make That $$$$ in week 2.

Week 1 Recap

Three Team Six Point Teaser

Detroit Lions -1 PUSH
Houston Texans +7.5 Winner
Jacksonville Jaguars -2.5 Winner

Bet $100 Win $160

This teaser was reduced to a two teamer due to the tie the reduce rate wager turns into -110. The pay out based on $100 is $90.90 for simplicity and record keeping sake, I'm just going to call it $91.

Record 1-0 +91

Let's cut to the chase here, the Lions got off to a fast start and were up 21-0 with 5 minutes left in the third quarter. They should've been up more. It's like a flip switched and the Saints became an offensive juggernaut completed plays on 4th down multiple times and going up and down the field like a well oiled machine. Due to both teams getting the ball in the OT session the Saints were able to come down the field again and score and rather than take the chance of giving the Lions the ball again and potentially losing on a field goal, they went for two and it barely failed. I guess I was spot on that the Lions would do just enough and they did, begrudgingly.

Houston +7.5, I took Houston +1.5 in Bad Man why wouldn't I like them at +7.5 at home. This is likely going to be a struggle for both sides on offense. Shroud historically has started slow. I was dead wrong on the offense and defense here. It was a role reversal where the defenses were out of sync and the offenses were better prepared than expected. It wasn't easy for the Bills to win and oddly enough it was their defense that kept them from losing SU on the final drive of the game for Houston.

Jacksonville -2.5, Mind you I took Cleveland in Bad Man but at +8.5. This game may be closer than people think. I can see a Jacksonville win by 3 late. I expected a better showing from Cleveland but they were nowhere to be found. One thing I said, well two things I said came true. I could be super wrong on Cleveland with 8.5 and teams that received 6.5 or more went 2-1 with this crappy Browns team the sole loser.

Listen week 1 is a crap shoot, you don't know much. People think they do, they don't. If they tell you they do, their full of shit. I don't know anything extra about week 1 than anyone else.

This couldn't have been words more true. I didn't know jack shit in week one as my Bad Man selections show. To add to my misery.......... if anyone finds the LAC team, tell them all to f off for me. The dream of winning 25 million came to a crashing halt. I might be the only person to play in Circa Survivor and lose SU to the Raiders and Cardinals in consecutive contests. Two of the absolute worst franchises around. To make it worse, I live in a suburb of Phoenix and a life long hate to admit it Raider fan. F the Cardinals, I hope they lose the next 16 in a row.

In any event the only thing that went right for me on Sunday was to deliver another winner to the two or three people that actually read my thread. It's discouraging to say the least. Yep and it's only week 1.

A very small loss at this point and one that is very manageable to turn around.

For this week, it's simple.........

Green Bay Packers +7.5 (-110)
Cincinnati Bengals -0.5 (-120)
Bet $110 Win $ 100

2 team 6 pt teaser.

With Cincinnati all we need from them is to win. Miami is the perfect tonic for the Bengals and there's not much to get into here. Miami is the worst team in the NFL and it's not close.

Green Bay has been a rather disappointing team to say the least but to see Chicago favored is a bit puzzling. This gives us the opportunity to take a team that over the years has been very reliable at home and already has a hiccup at home in their home opener. I don't see that happening here as it's a division rival and to get more than 7 at home with a capable team is just the move you have to make.

The play won't get us even on the season and it won't bury us either.

Good Luck this week in the NFL.

Season Record 1-1 -9

End of Week, Look Ahead Teaser

6PT Teaser

Los Angeles Rams -0.5 (-115)
Green Bay Packers -0.5 (-105)
Seattle Seahawks -0.5 (-115)
Detroit Lions -0.5 (-115)
Buffalo Bills -1 (-110)
San Francisco 49ers -2.5 (-105)

Bet $50 Win $300

Occasionally I'll do what I call a lottery ticket teaser if the numbers can align where basically all I need is a team to win the game. That situation has presented itself with the end of Week 2 and the Week 3 card.

I'm not going to get over technical here and just give a snippet:

Rams - After such a horrendous first game they have nowhere else to go but up. Giants traveling across country. Rams should win here.

Packers - Home in Lambeau after a few on the road, you can't ask for a better team to face.

Seahawks - Backup QB for WAS isn't anywhere as good as Lock for SEA. Champs get it done.

Lions - What's there to say here? Blew game 1, got steamrolled game 2 and lost by 10 but it was worse than that. I can't see the Lions starting 0-3. We saw the same J-E-T-S in the 4th and OT against the Packers at home.

Bills - This line is so fishy at only -7. For as bad as the Chargers have looked and who Buffalo has beat already, this line should be double digits, but the books aren't stupid and the public is going to bet this -7 as if it's money in the bank. I'll be happy with a Bills win here. Could we see the Chargers at 0-9 to start the season? It's highly possible.

49ers - You saw what they did to the Dolphins. They should do it to the Cardinals who came back to earth after the Chargers gifted them game one. Let the long losing streak begin for the Cardinals.

Getting 6-1 on this, is pretty darn good. Let's get by tonight with the Rams to get to Thursday.

6 Point Teaser

New England Patriots +9 (-105) Thursday
Kansas City Chiefs +8.5 (+105)

Bet $110 Win $100

I'm not going to go in depth with the reasoning behind these teams but to me this offers extreme value as we are pushing two really good teams through the 7 key number.

Plus the fact that both teams have a high probability of winning the game. That's a strong combination even if they are both traveling to hostile territory.

I like this one a lot and I'm not telling you to let it rip, play your normal bet size and perhaps sprinkle 1/3 to 1/2 more. It still gets graded at the amount listed.

Season Record 2-3 -59

6.5 pt teaser +240

San Francisco 49ers -1 (-110)
New York Giants +8 (-120)
Indianapolis Colts -0.5 (-105)
New England Patriots -1 (even)
Bet $100 Win $240

Let's get into this shall we.

New England -1 - Jets nice story so far this year but they aren't in the class of New England and it's not close. Let's get real here the Jets have played the 25th hardest schedule and sit at 2-3. New England is at 3-2 but have played the 3rd hardest schedule so far this year. Do you want the Jets QB or NE QB is really the closer to this. It's not close, you'll take Maye all Day!

Indianapolis -.5 - If the Colts can't win this game at home against one of the worst NFL teams in the league, then we don't deserve to win. Titans 0-5 vs the 22nd hardest schedule while the Colts are 2-3 vs the 8th hardest. The Cam Ward experiment should be shut down with no further funding to this research project. In Daniel Jones, I'll trust in this one, however it should be a run heavy game plan for the Colts!

NY Giants +8 - New Orleans being favored by 1.5 on the road and here's why, they've played the 9th hardest schedule while the Giants have played the easiest schedule in the league so far and that's 32nd. That New Orleans win in week 2 vs Baltimore seems so long ago, because it was. The Giants are playing really well and yes the offense leaves a lot to be desired at times but it's in every game. I'll take the home team vs the dome team traveling to a not so familiar venue.

SF -1 - To close this out, you have one of top 2 or three teams in the league right now. Yes their schedule 27th, but that is mind boggling since Seattle and the Rams are part of this early schedule. Arizona likely bogged it down a bit but still. How is Washington going to fare coming cross country and after non stop questions on how they gave the game away vs the Giants last week. Here's the thing, everyone in the media, the talking heads etc, they all say "they gave the game away" They all act like it was a foregone conclusion the FG would've been good. We don't know that and we've seen a lot of missed FG's this year and one kicker already lost his job. I don't buy into that narrative, because it was really the Giants that should've won the game. If they don't fumble, they are lining up for that "never miss" FG attempt. Perhaps the Redskins errr the Commanders come out inspired for a few drives but once SF punches them in the mouth and something negative takes place, it's lights out. The other scenario is they come out flat and Niners smash em. I like the latest scenario to take place.

I like this one a lot this week as all we are doing is asking 3 teams to do what they are supposed to do and one to do what they've done all season to this point.
