AZ +6.5. Cards will be a sleeper this year

Couple of things for me here: This is a fade of Dan Quinn in his first game with a new team with a rookie quarterback. I also think people are overlooking the Bucs as i expect them to improve on their 9-8 record last year and Baker Mayfield should have a good year. I think this line is a couple of points below what it should be.

Broncos +6

Bo Nix will start in a tough road matchup against the Seahawks. I think the Broncos with Nix playing will be a much tougher team offensively to play against. Geno Smith is coming off a disappointing season last year and he gets a Broncos D that doesn't look appealing on paper, but does have talent and will be motivated. I think the Broncos will surprise people this year and be competitive. I like the Broncos to cover +6.

The two home dogs stick out for me on this Opening Weekend. The Colts +3 and the Texans is a rivalry that's too good for the season opener. Both teams coming out a bit rusty only favors the dog with the x-factor being how well Anthony Richardson comes out after last season's season ending injury. I'm liking the home cooking here.

Same with the G-men being +1.5 home dog against a young Vikings team. Sure they have Justin Jefferson but is Sam Darnold really that much better than Daniel Jones? I'll take the home cooking again with the Giants. With it being The 100th Anniversary of the NY Giants and it being Opening Day, they better have some fireworks lined up for the home fans. Neither team is making the playoffs with a win here anyway.

No analytics here, going with gut feeling out of the gate.

With Jerry Snead and Awuzie In the backfield, it should give Caleb some trouble. A lot of pressure on a rookie quarterback to start the year. Levis Has it look good in the preseason as well?
