My pick - Hornets+7

The Pacers, led by Haliburton and his teammates, clearly have the edge in quality. However, they rarely dominate opponents, even though, on paper, they could manage against Charlotte, even with some missing players. Charlotte, meanwhile, can still put up a fight. They’re also dealing with key absences, especially Bridges (along with some centers), but Miller and Williams are available, and Ball is expected to set the tone. On the Pacers’ side, Nembhard is fit, McConnell is questionable, and Naismith is out.

If Charlotte can compensate for their missing players in the paint and particularly Bridges, with strong shooting and by exploiting Indiana's defensive vulnerabilities like last season, they should be able to stay within the spread until the end.

Iowa under 45. I agree Iowa is a different team on the road, but their defense will hold ucla under 30. Iowas offense is always suspect and overly conservative.

It’s very early but it’s a spot KU will want to show they are one of the top programs in the country. Biggest factor here is playing at Allen Fieldhouse. The fans and students will be out to give the team the advantage. Better play could be to play KU in the first half.

NM scores an avg of almost 35 pts a game and their defense gives up an avg of almost 41 pts a game. SDST scores an avg of 23 pts a game and their defense gives up about 28 pts a game. NM in their last 5 games put up over 45 pts a game 4 out of the 5 games. SDST last 4 games put up around 27 pts a game. I think SDST can and will score against NM poor defense. It's about 17 pts a quarter ( which i know sounds a lot ) but with NM offense vs a less then good defense with SDST. and with NM poor defense against SDST offense there should be high amount of pts tonight.
