Balco Sophmore Joined: May 2023 Posts: 1,177 Likes: 34 USA	Riley Leonard (ND) o11.5 Rushing Attempts (-125 FD) Once again trusting Riley to use his legs heavily in this matchup. 14 rush attempts last week in the win vs UGA. 8 designed runs, his highest mark since Week 5. RB Jeremiyah Love is banged up coming into this one, expecting ND to continue to lean on Leonard and Price here. Also had 11 attempts in the blowout win vs Indiana in the first round, and 12 in the last week of the regular season vs USC, which was a big game. PSU run defense is their strength, but aren’t great vs ND’s running scheme. Middle of the pack in the FBS against inside zone. Riley should be able to find some success. If Abdul Carter suits up for PSU (which they expect him to) there is more upside for sacks/pressures leading to scrambles as well.

This being a semi-final game I think think the game plan will be simple runs and pass when needed hoping the other team will make the first mistake/turnover. Penn St. should be ready for Riley Leonard trying to stop his running ability like he did against Georgia.

They rely heavily on the run game. Penn St run defense is going to be the best ND has seen all year. ND passing is less than dis arable. This is probably going to be a low scoring game but Penn St gets enough done to get the win. 17-13 Penn St. we may be looking at a Big Ten matchup in the National Championship Game!! 5 unit plays 2-1 4 unit plays 3-3 3 unit plays 11-5 2 unit plays 17-8 1 unit plays 9-2
